Why we process shareholder data

As a listed company, we hold a register of shareholders which records each shareholder's name, address and shareholding. This register is maintained by our registrar, Computershare.

We process this information to administer shareholdings, pay dividends, send communications and meet legal and regulatory obligations.

The legal basis for processing

We process shareholder data to fulfil our statutory and regulatory obligations as a public company, and for our legitimate interests in administering shareholdings and communicating with shareholders.

What we collect

We collect shareholder names, addresses, contact details, bank details for dividend payments, shareholdings and, where applicable, beneficial ownership information.

Sharing shareholder data

Shareholder data is shared with our registrar and transfer agents, auditors, legal advisers and regulators as required.

Certain information in the share register may be made available to shareholders in accordance with the Companies Act.

Retention and your rights

We retain shareholder data for as long as required by law and our retention schedule.

You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your data, subject to our legal obligations, by contacting shareholderrelations@bandoinsurance.com.
